"Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another steppingstone to greatness."

Oprah Winfrey has been a well renowned iconic figure as an American media proprietor, producer, host as well as a famously known Philanthropist. This great personality was born on January 29th, 1954 at Koschiusko, Mississippi, United States (US). Oprah Winfrey show hosted by her has been rated as one of the maximum rated television program in it’s kind in the world TV history. Her consistent efforts towards establishing her identity favored her to achieve her net worth of US $2.8 billion as per February 2018 Forbes record and getting $75 million per month as salary in the US.

I don't think of myself as a poor deprived ghetto girl who made good. I think of myself as somebody who from an early age knew I was responsible for myself, and I had to make good.

Oprah also encountered several major life failures which made her feel totally embarrassed and depressed with her life. She was born as an unfortunate daughter of a teenage mother having a minimum income which even hard enough for survival. Oprah accepted her extremely harder life periods in the childhood along with her mother. She was sexually abused at an age of merely 9 years by her cousin, uncle and a friend of her family which made her feel extremely unfortunate and depressed.

At an early age of 14, she even became pregnant due to continuous sexual abuse accidents and finally gave birth to a child who also died soon after the birth. Oprah was sent to his father for rest of her life’s turning points where she attended her schooling and completed her education in communications from Tennessee State University to build up a rewarding media career.

After getting hired in a news television channel, she was fired from the job because of being an unfit personality for news television show. She got another job at another channel known by the name ‘Baltimore’ where she hosted a show named ‘People are talking’.

The year 1983 also made her feel down and depressed when her hosted show ‘AM Chicago’ suffered from the lowest number of ratings but finally the show raised up very soon and even defeated the top rated show at that time known with the name ‘Donahue’. The show later on was renamed as ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ which got the international name, fame and popularity all over the globe.

This above list of paragraphs explains the harsh failures of this world renowned iconic figure who achieved all her desires despite of the continuous failures throughout her life’s struggle. The statement made by her – “Turn your wounds into wisdom” seems to be extremely realistic after reading about her life’s struggle to success.
